I wish gaijin would change their stance on Norwegian vehicles being premium exclusive as making sweden into a nordic tech tree would just be better. Having more danish and Norwegian representation would be cool not to mention they have vehicles that can fill out the weaker BR’s that the nordic tech tree has.

Technically the suggestion is no longer valid, and should be deleted as 2A7 NO has not been built and will never be built due to Norway changing their order to the 2A8 NOR.

It is valid, it was trialed. Also, two Leopard 2A7 and two K2 Black Panther were brought up here for the trials and one of each were modified (2A7NO/K2NO)
The tanks trialed were German Leopard 2A7V and a KMW owned Leopard 2 meant to be modified whatever way KMW wants it to, not “Norwegian”. You don’t seriously think Sweden should be viable to get a German owned MBT via Norway just because they trialed it, do you?

No, Germany delivered their own 2A7V (hence why its weight was way above what Norway specified), and a Leopard 2VT-ETB that is owned by KMW and was later used to show off the Leopard 2A7 “Trophy”. We’ve only seen the 2A7V trialed, however.

Does fighting here do anything? Its a suggestion that in the grandscheme of things means nothing. Besides i doubt we would see a 2A8NOR for a while and even more so likely on sweden as theybare done MBT wise. Im against more Leos for now until other nations get bigger MBT lineups and would rather see more unique Norwegian vehicles than the K2 or another boring Leo.

No, I’m just saying that this suggestion should no longer be up as the vehicle it is about doesn’t and will never exist, and the vehicles trialed by Norway are both German owned, and thus aren’t viable for addition to other trees just cus some country tested them.
However, the author of this suggestion is known to make things up just so he can get his way so :shrug:

Again this is a suggestion forum, i don’t even take these seriously. Its like the Kranvagn. Sure it got passed but it means nothing as the suggestion stuff is way more lenient but realistically doesnt do anything when it comes to what the snail wants.

-1. Sweden does not need another copy-paste Leopard 2, let alone a trial vehicle that was never adopted by Norway.
