There are other factors to consider outside of protection when you compare the T-90A to the Leopard 2A4, like how the 2A4 is significantly more mobile, reloads faster, and has a lower BR.

Apparently it is, I’ve heard numerous M1 tankers say they found the Leo 2 interior very cramped by comparison.
Yes they can. Leopard 1A1 and 1A5 have different reloads.

It’s not really meaning full to some degree. This is if you are a loader in L2’s and you have 5 years of experience you could load a shell in like 4 seconds, or if your new to the L2’s you might take full 10 seconds.
The Leopard 2A4 is probably my favorite 10.7 vehicle, it’s well balanced and available to multiple nations. No, the round is not exceptional, but it does the job if and only if you know where to shoot. It’s not as point and shoot as the T58. It can, however, kill just about everything at that BR with the roadwheel shot, lower plate, or from the side. It’s a powerful gun, has great drop, plus decent thermals and a laser rangefinder on a chassis with decent armor and phenomenal mobility, probably some of the best at the BR. The singular weakness is the nato hump, but if you play peek-and-disappear tactics well and don’t get yourself in situations where you have to look backwards, it’s incredibly powerful, and when played correctly with the Leopard 1A5, Leopard 2K, and possibly the T72M1 for hull down, you get a solid 10.7 lineup that when played well can perform incredibly.

Fair enough then, I’ll take the word of people that have actually been in and operated both over my rough eyeballing of it.
And for the record I don’t think a reload buff is critical, it’s just one of those “it would be nice” things, it also depends a bit on what else I have been playing, after playing the Type 10 for a bit the L2 feels like an IS-2 reload speed, but after playing the IS-2s they feels like an autocannon!
The reload is only a serious issue once you deplete the bustle ammo, but how often dose that happen outside grinding mods in assault arcade?
Issue is even with all that nearly everything still goes through the 2a4s front relatively effortlessly, specifically in the all too many uptiers.
The gun you have with its ammo really becomes a noticable lack of capability given about anything else you face doesnt have that trouble on you.
Like its not a bad ammo the 2a4 gets when you pen but when its consistenly Hard to penetrate and kill even a merkava in the turret/front armor then i greatly ask myself why we can’t get a better shot

Because the 2A4 is already easily one of the best 10.7 MBTs. Sure it can get DM33, alongside a BR increase to at least 11.0.

Yeah the 2A4 is at least one of the most balanced mbts at 10.7, the reason behind occasional poor performance it uptiers to the Terminator. As for the armor, it’s not great but the right position and you can stay hull down and shoot with available cover. The turret armor is actually really good and can tank a couple hits, so as long as you aren’t trying to compete with like an object 120 or whatever and know how to play it, you should be fine. The mobility is also just about the best of any mbt at 10.7, it turns instantly, both the hull and turret, has a reasonable reload and an amazing top speed. Probably my favorite high tier in the german tech tree.

Issue is even that with the turret armor being good i would personally say you still cannot rest easy given that good armor doesn’t hold up a lot of the times. I have gotten taken my fcs and gunner/commander taken out more times than i can count and none of that armor have seemed to stop the bullets fired st me like how it did back on the jagdtiger which actually had good armor for its br.
Why immideately insult me
I just find Merkavas in special, same as Challenger 2s, insanely hard to pen in the turrets or any part on it. While they do not share those issues with me on the leo 2a4.
It just feels like its very incapable of fighting back even incase you rarely are the one to spot and shoot the enemy first before they do to you.
Same is true for all mbts at this br

The Merkavas are just so weakly armored.
Used correctly, I often find them to be on the harder side to kill
It depends which Merkava tbh. The Merkava Mk.3s and Mk.4s are laughably easy to pen and one shot kill when using tanks that are the same BR as them, although the Mk.3s can be tanky against uptiered 10.3-10.7s.
However against earlier darts the Mk.1s and Mk.2s can still be decently survivable.
