So as more and more vehicles now have modeled trunnions (Abrams, Type 10, T-64, T-72, T-80, T-90, all their Chinese cousins, Ariete, Leclerc…) they all received it as solid CHA which has a 0.95 RHA modifier.
Only the Leopard was left with one made out of mild steel which only has a 0.45 RHA value making it noticeably weaker. You can often get the breech of Leopards because that weak trunnion allows autocannon APFSDS to slip through where it shouldn’t.
Shouldn’t this be corrected?
