- As you can see the Abrams has a k/d almost x2 that of Leclerc, even though more people play USA while France has less players but and general better than most American players.

- As you can see the Abrams has much better armor. But also the crew is more spaced out. While the Leclerc has less armor and a shot to the center hull or right hull will often result in a death.

- As you can see the Abrams shell has almost more than 60mm of PEN and weights an addition 2.5KG (which makes more spall / post PEN damage)
So I must ask, why are both these tanks BR 12.7. When its clear the Abrams is far better?
Hell even the Abrams M1A2 at BR 12.0 is better than the Leclerc.
Just for the record, the penetrator mass is irrelevant for spall-amount and damage on long-rod apds-fs.
The higher penetration and thus higher residual penetration is what matters though, so does the penetrator diameter (cba to check which of them is higher rn)
The only way that the penetrator-mass affects the spall-amount/damage that I am aware of is the ballistic characteristics (velocity-loss over range), which in turn affects impact-velocity, which in turn affects penetration which in turn affects residual penetration.

why are you looking at the arcade stats for the abrams and the realistic stats for the leclerc?
also the sepv3 has very, almost abnormally, high stats at the moment I wouldnt use that as the comparison
also what data even is that, only 283 battles in the leclerc and 73 in the sepv3 is basically nothing, definitely not conducive to good data (thunderskill still exists and people still use it?? blegh)
