The 4 Leclercs copy paste sort of is an argument, but even compared to the Type 10 or TKX with their top dart the Leclercs frontal armor profile is rather comparable. And is probably the reason they decided to slap 4 of basically the same tanks into top tier france, its just a bit dull doing that instead of giving it an actually reliable round. (mind you, even compared to 3bm60 of the russians, which has almost the same pen values the Leclercs penetrator weighs 4 kg instead of 5.2 (similar to the japanese one) which gives it less post pen damage.
In no other nation does having a good lineup (or a bad one) justify or make tanks deserve a higher or lower br??? (looking at you us 6.7 and many others). Same as to how does it matter for lower br japan struggling with lineups at lower brs (as does france) interfere with its top tier tanks?
what should that spec comparison tell me? that the abrams also has ESS, better gunner optics and commander thermals? i know that, i played all of these for 100s of matches.
well basically every 12.7 leclerc should receive a new round they have newer rounds to add that would make them a lot better and thats all they really need
and getting the most stacked toptier line up is insane as they also have LEO-2A6

i can fully agree with that. with all of the downsides the leclerc already has it should at least have a round that does damage when you hit an enemy tank where you want to
well then…not a big surprise cause otherwise he would know what about the japanese top round does. But also not really important, everyones free to discuss here. its just a tiny bit pointless when theres no actual experience involved…
SEPV2 is a lot heavier lower top speed meaning less mobile also meaning it cannot get to good spots nearly as quick its good gun really is all it has for it and it stuck with the turret basket while leclerc has a autoloader which doesnt jam turret when hit effectively killing you
and you get 5 second reload stock and if you dont loose it if you loose your loader cause you dont have one

Better reload is negligible, as expert is a .3s difference, 5.3 vs 5s changes virtually nothing.
Better survivability is a blatant lie.
Thats why im never outrunning any abrams (maybe the sepv2) in any of my leclercs at match start? because after half a minute i can reach 72 kph and hold that for 2 seconds?
Reload for most abrams i would say is 0.3 seconds slower considering that most dangerous enemies and not casual players at least have it experted and the same for ace crew.
Survivability? It has worse armor. and less crew. your only upside is that youre still fully functional should you get lucky to lose only 1 crew.
The turret basket is a point though. But once all tanks get these the leclerc is absolutely doomed if nothing else changes
