Why is the Leclerc S1 and S2 the same BR as the SXXI. The Leclerc S1 and S2 don’t have a thermal sight for the commander, and the armor might as well be paper because the only time that tank survives being hit is if the sabot overpens and doesn’t spall. Also, not to mention none of the Leclercs get a spall liner, so if anyone so much as scratches you, the tank explodes.

The armor for the SXXI is also poor.
I completely agree, just that the S1 and S2 are at even more of a disadvantage without the commander’s thermal sight.
That’s not a thing by the way, so I guess a correct statement would be :
“Why is the Leclerc S1 and S2 the same BR as the SXXI. Besides the Leclerc S.XXI, the other Leclercs don’t have a thermal sight for the commander, and the armor might as well be paper on all of them”.
Leclerc S.XXI’s only advantages are CITV and like 50mm more armor : let’s face it, both are negligible and do not warrant even 0.3 more BR.
It’s not that Leclerc S1 & S2 need to to be lower BR than Leclerc S.XXI. Now that Ariete and Merkavas are getting 5 seconds of reload along the Abrams, the Leclercs are literally pointless. All the Leclercs need to be either 0.3 or 0.7 lower than they now are. Period.
Why are we picking fights when we both agree that the Leclerc needs to be balanced, and all four Leclerc shouldn’t be the same rank; there needs to be some progression from rank seven to rank eight like other country’s top-tier tanks.
They don’t, they’re perfectly fine where they are.
The game just needs to decompress the Strv122’s and 2A7’s upwards.
