So my launcher is stuck at “checking game updates, please wait” It ran 10 minutes ago, I
changed to directx 12 and now its stuck like this, I can’t change back to directx 11 either, anybody know what could be the problem? Thanks in beforehand :)

Have you done a file integrity check? (wrench top right → check files)
yeah i did that a lot of times, no idea what the problem could be(been like that for around an hour now)
i get crashes in Airbattles with Directx 12 but only in air battles
Some things to try if you haven’t already:
Restart PC.
Restart Router.
Delete the war thunder cache and compiled shaders folders and do another file integrity check.
Update all drivers.
Double check firewall and antivirus so that nothing there is stopping the game.
Try starting the game in-between each of these things to see if it’s fixed.

I think I got it to work, i deleted all my userskins and then verified the files and now its downloading the full hd textures so I think it’ll work now!
