When I click on War Thunder on the Start menu the launcher doesnt start and instead an error message shows up (see screenshot)
Ooh… That launcher is maaaaaad at you. Should have given it more attention looks like you have to delete it and install a new one now. Bae left you haha force update launcher change old one to new that is old launcher buddy.

Please download the latest launcher from the War Thunder homepage:
And extract the files into your main WarThunder installation folder and make sure they overwrite the old launcher files and see if that helps?
