Latin American Air Forces Tree

The concept of “subtree” can be interpreted in different ways, just because there is no line does not mean that it is not one. If the equipment of one country (Not in a single composition, since this would be considered an exception) is added to another, not as a line, then this is also a subtree, my personal opinion

The term sub-tree cannot be interpreted in different ways.

Gaijin itself has referred to specific additions only as a sub-tree: this being single lines within a tree that represent a whole country.
Certain countries may be represented exclusively in one tree that is currently in game, as is the case for Argentina in Germany, but that does not make them a sub-tree.

Argentina doesn’t have a full line of it’s own that spans through several ranks.
Argentina didn’t get a big announcement , trailer and update named after it.
Argentina physically cannot even be incorporated into Germany due to the 5 line limit that is currently in place.
This all means that for all intents and purposes Argentina is free to go wherever, including a potential LATAM tree, including Germany, including UK, including any other tree you can think of.

That’s sort of an unfortunate claim to be precise, you could even name France or Italy before the UK.

But overall i agree with your take

I mentioned it mainly due to the Crusader conversions and Sherman Firefly exports.
Pardon me if it came across in the wrong way.

YES, I would love to see something like this in the game.

@BHmaster I think you forgot to put the Brazilian Mirage 2000C and the B version
both were used by Brazil from 2006 to 2013 (shortly after Mirage III was removed from service in 2005)

and I’m a little worried about the super tucano’s BR, it’s a very new plane, I don’t remember where I saw it, but since its prototype it seems like it could already use the MAA-1 Piranha missile, which is comparable to the r73 when I had done my research (I could be wrong it was just a quick research)
that combine with HMD and can also carry other very powerful weapons, it is a complicated plane to balance since it is a prop
some of the weapons that the super tucano can carry according to the wiki

the AT-27 tucano couldn’t carry IR missiles i think, but it’s still a 1980 plane at 3.7 lol

I didn’t ignore it, I just rejected it because there’s no Brazilian modification or modernization on it. But it could be added as a replacement (or to complement) the Venezuelan F-16A at 11.7.

We’re aware of all that. Our workaround was to add multiple versions of the Super Tucano, each with their own set of armaments that are balanced according to the BR they’re in. That way we were able to fill the ranks more easily.

Please consider checking the spoilers for each variant and their armament options. It starts from the prototype (YAT-29) limited to just AIM-9Bs and dumb bombs and ends at the A-29N, which is the Super Tucano built to NATO standards and features the best armaments and equipment that it can carry.

The regular Tucano does not carry any missiles at all. Just MG pods, and rockets. Sure it’s a modern plane in such a low BR, but really what’s the problem with that? Long gone are the days when WT had historical matchups.

the K-2 is actually chinese but hell yeah i would love to have it lmao

china irl has more stuff that gaijin just decided to not add and i can’t defend israel, that really is mostly if not all copypaste hahahaha

China is a real let down as it is. It has so much potential at nearly every tier.

Israel air is a joke tho. I really hope the Lavi gets added to at least give them one entirely unique aircraft, even if its somewhat fictional. I guess at top tier the F-35I will be slightly different to the standard F-35s everyone else is getting.

Gonna say -1 on this one. Too many copy paste for my liking, tree doesn’t feel “original”…
Might be good potential sub tree additions with these countries.

just compared the suggestions for china and israel, israel is absolutely empty compared to china lmaoo

Guys, c’mon. This is not the place to be talking about other trees and proposals. Stay on topic please.

Some other vehicles that are not mentioned

Fw-58B-2: Unique Brazilian built Fw-58 Weihe, it has additional wing pylons and 30.cal Browning LMG’s

Focke Wulf FW.58 B2 Weihe-1

Curtiss CW-14B: Bolivian Light Bomber armed with a forward firing and defensive LMG

Junkers K-43 & W-43hi: Operated by various Latin American nations including Argentina, Bolivia and Colombia. Argentine K-43’s have the largest payload and armament while Colombian K-43 can mount floats and Bolivian K-43’s saw combat service as a light bomber during the Chaco war against Paraguay

JunkersK-43Argentinanr106zrfotoAero

Fairey Gordon Floatplane: Operated By Brazil

The Brazilian P-40K can be specified to either a K-1, K-10 or K-15. In terms of the A-20K’s it can split between the K-10 (Glass Nose) and K-15 (Hard Nose), they also have different primary armaments. The V-11GB2 had a subvariant prototype with floats desginated the “V-11GB2F”

Would be interesting to see a c-130 and a b-25j-20 in the same match. Probably would outrun any other bomber other than the dive bombers possibly that are currently in the game (prop only)

There is one very important aircraft that is missing to fill out the gaps either in Tier IV or V Secondary Attacker line

FMA MS-760 Paris

Brazil also used the MS-760 Paris
