Latest Update Broke Ray Tracing?

4070 Super. Didn’t have an issue with RT on until today. Now I get 30fps with RT-medium. Tried the latest drivers just released as well.

What broke?

Same for me on a 4080 Super and a i9-13900k. Currently it seems like the game doesnt really utilize the CPU correctly as it, according to Intel XTU, only uses it by 5-6%, before it was more like 10-20% for me.

It also seems to be mostly affecting the Hangar where i only get like 20-30 fps aswell. However while in test drive it goes up to 100-120 fps which is still worse than my 160+ fps i had before.

Same here on a 5090. Only fix is going back to DX11.

I’m not so sure as well but I was hanging around the War Thunder subreddit to see if anyone has the same issue. The temporary fix as of now is just to turn off RT in the mean time. There’s no need to switch back to Direct3d 11.

Same issue, hovering around 25-30 fps in the hangar with nasty stuttering. In-game higher fps but frequent lag spikes and frames freezing and borderline unplayably bad stuttering. No settings changed recently, drivers updated. Also I too noticed the CPU usage being ridiculously low, around like 5% while GPU at nearly full juice.

The issue appears resolved. I switch RT back on to medium today and now my frames are back to where they used to be ~120fps in the hanger and in match. 2K res. DLSS Super Sampling anti-aliasing. Again using a 4070 super without frame generation.

The main menu issue is resolved but the framedrops to 20-30 fps at random with RT still remain.
