Lately my graphics card spins up a lot. What has changed?

I haven’t changed the graphics settings but for a while, even the hangar will make the card spin up.
I used to run high settings on a RTX4070S. When I switch to medium, the card will remain quiet again. I use DX11. The card has been cleaned, but wasn’t dusty.

Does anyone know which changes have been made?

Ive also had this issue on my 3080 over the past like week, I think its an issue with nvidia drivers though, because ive also noticed it in other games. Although it is deffinitly much more of an issue on warthunder then other games.

Lowering the FPS cap also helps with it.
