Last Time Playing This Game

I have spent almost 10 years playing this game and over that time have paid over $2000 (prob closer to 3 but I have too much in purchase history to add up). My buddy introduced me to this game because I was playing World of Tanks. I love history and military genres. I have over 2 months of RB play time, 130+ Million lions earned, 25k matches played. Last week my friend was “Permanently Banned” from WT and was told it was due to him changing his game files. The guy does construction type work he’s not some game exploiter. The only thing he had done was upload his game controls to a thumb drive so he can upload them to his laptop for traveling. We created a squadron together and we have introduced a lot of people to this game. I lost a one of the most appealing things to playing WT, which is other people to enjoy it with. I have about a year of premium time still paid for and just don’t have the will or interest to continue playing this game and definitely not spending any more money after I see how it can all end. I’m sure there will be folks out there that will say, you’re an idiot for spending real money on a free game or your friend shouldn’t cheat then. There’s always some toxic person that wants to comment and bring you down to their level, lord knows this game has it’s fair share. My thought is, you can’t take money with you when your dead and I would rather enjoy time with friends online than to sit at a bar drinking my time away. It’s was a choice. Hopefully someone at Gaijin will read this and realize what they are doing to their community. Good Luck.

Probably no, actually this will get locked by some moderator.

I believe considering the huge Grind in War Thunder and you plan to keep on playing for years, worthing wasting money on this game.

Yeah probably. Just uninstalled the game so doesn’t really even matter.

Did your friend contact Gaijin support?

Good one. Unless you are secretly a top dog at Gaijin and can un-ban my friend for wrongful banning, that wont be happening. Good luck though.

There is nothing wrong with spending expendable income on something you enjoy, if that thing you enjoy is warthunder, then there you are. If you are feeling burned out with the game there is also nothing wrong with taking a break for a few months and seeing how you feel about it later on. That said, I struggle to believe that your friend was wrongfully banned. Wrongful bans are extremely rare and it isn’t really difficult to hide cheats of various kinds even from people you are playing with. If there was a genuine issue with a large number of bans that Gaijin could not prove were fair that were done by an automated system, then if a large number of support tickets came through they might investigate and remove the bans, that is about his only recourse.

99/100 people crying about wrongful bans are illuminated to the fact that people can see every match replay and stats you have just by having your username. At least posts your friends ID so we can have another peanut gallery viewing here.

I don’t consider myself crying. If posting to a forum is deemed crying then we are all a bunch of saps. mtshadowreaper8@live – feel free to find the exploits. I’ve been playing with him for years. For that matter look up my games if your bored. Doesn’t matter to me. Cheaters ruin all games and I don’t condone it. They told him he manipulated his game files. We both started playing on Xbox, but both did the account sync and play on PC with the Xbox account. The only thing he claims to have done is upload his controls to a thumb drive and load them on his desktop so he didn’t have to manually rebuild. I have no reason to NOT believe him but apparently Gaijin does.

Contact Gaijin support then?

Initial “Good bye” message posted on Oct 28th → “Last week battles: 42” (so the week of Nov 4th) → It seems that you can’t quit.

You can’t quit the snail… You can’t escape the snail

It’s like runescape, you never really quit. You simply pause for a few years, maybe.
