I’ve grinded most of the British ground tech tree and I’m approaching a BR with my air progression that will allow me to use laser guided CAS munitions but I have no clue how to use them effectively. I know all the fundamentals/keybinds etc. and I know how to play top tier CAS but usually I play Russian CAS so I’m used to fire and forgets, so when I try to use laser guided things I end up just making myself a sitting duck since I fail to keep laser lock without being easily available for SPAA.
So to start off you can pre drop you laser guided munition and then pop up later and guide it in.
You should also train the limits of your targeting pod, so you know how much you can roll and angel gate without loosing guidance

That makes a lot of sense, especially with the targeting pod limits since the Russian aircraft don’t usually get targeting pods with laser guidance so I’m used to the limited nose area provided on the 24m and 34
For example the eurofighters pod can almost look completely behind it self, you would be surprised how much you can turn with them. Just one thing, while turning, do not try to move the laser. You will have some weird velocity things happening to it
