On August 15th, Poland celebrates Armed Forces Day! During the Second World War, the Poles were the fourth largest within the Allies, behind the USSR, the USA and Great Britain. On the Eastern Front, they participated in the liberation of Belarus, Ukraine and Poland, as well as in the Battle of Berlin. As part of the Western forces, Polish formations fought for Tobruk and Monte Cassino, participated in the Battle of Britain and the Falaise Offensive.

Suggestion: Moments of Valor — Poland

I think Poland would be a perfect fit for a future Moments of Valor episode.

Instead of focusing on a single battle, the film could show the journey of Polish soldiers across different fronts of World War II:

Hurricanes and Spitfires over Britain.
ORP Piorun hunting Bismarck.
Polish soldiers fighting alongside the Allies at Monte Cassino.
General Maczek’s “Black Devils” liberating Belgium and the Netherlands, with Breda as a major emotional moment.
And finally Polish troops fighting in the East and reaching Berlin.

The common theme could be simple:

It didn’t matter where they fought or who stood beside them. Wherever Polish soldiers went, they fought for Poland.

The final scenes could transition from those historical vehicles and aircraft to modern Polish forces.

I think this could make a very strong Moments of Valor episode — not just about one battle, but about the many places where Polish soldiers fought during the war.

You already mentioned many of these chapters in your Polish Armed Forces Day article. It would be great to see them brought together into one cinematic story.
