Lack of primary spalling for Leopard 2AV and TTD

For some reason, no primary spalling occurs on the left turret-side armour piece:

Is this a bug or an intended feature?

This happens on both turret sides. It can also happen on both UFP and LFP.
I tested multiple shells and problem persists. I was also unable to replicate this on a 2A4.

Shame this isn’t about some USSR vehicle, it would be a pretty fired up thread with conspiracy theorists claiming it’s a definite proof of Russian bias and that Gaijin is coding built in spall liners for their favored tanks.
Since this is non-USSR vehicle I doubt many people will care.

I think the lack of spalling from LFP is due to the fuel tank / ammo soaking up all the spall, which is the same problem with all other vehicles.

That guy has some serious delusions.
It has a hull capable of stopping 105mm DM23 equivalents that are still fairly common at 9.0. I won’t even talk about USSR garbage rounds where TTD turns into a final boss.

TTD at 9.3 is probably some GB main’s wet dream.

Probably a guy that has 0.7 K/D in everything he touches and blames RU for his woes.
Last time I’ve played TTD I had like 2.5 KPS in it, can’t even imagine how strong it is against 9.0s.

I’d say my 4 KPS in it was fairly respectable, so I’m thinking I could at least get a 5 KPS in it now that you can face more crappy darts from 9.0 / 9.3, and not have to face the wrath of 11.3 at all (No Merkava Mk.3s nor IPM1s), and less 11.0s than before.
