KV-2 (ZIS-6) needs to go down in battle rating

The KV-2 (ZIS-6) is currently at BR 5.0 but I think it should go down to 4.7

*The armor is only 75mm which isn’t going to stop much, if anything at its own BR let alone an upteir (which is VERY common)

  • The tank has a very slow speed at 34km

  • The turret rotation is very slow at 4.2/s

  • The reload speed is also slow at 20+ seconds

  • The gun can only PEN 155mm

Its a heavy tank that cant rely on its armor, even on a downteir and a tank destroyer that cant rely on its gun. It certainly doesn’t help that BR 5.0 almost always gets upteired.

It used to be a funny derp gun but now it’s just kinda sad.

I am going to have to check it out again. I remember it penning the ufp of panthers.

I dont remember it being that bad of a tank.

“only” 155mm? The ZiS-6 is an excellent gun, it has insane sloped pen (UFP panthers, let alone anything at its BR), plus of course the overwhelming filler weight, and you can angle your armour quite well

I guess to be fair, it is low pen for a 106mm (Soviet 100mm has 239mm). But the gun is not lacking from what i remember. I use it more as a td than a brawler/heavy.

It should be eating the tiger spam rn.

The BR of the Zis-6 is definitely overlooked I feel. How this is the same BR as a VK3002 is crazy. Yes, the gun is good, but its still a KV-2 with a different gun. I think 4.7 is more than fair considering its atrocious gun handling and flat turret face.
