Well this premiun is well know, probably one of the oldest premiuns in the game.
The fact is the actual model is equipped with a wrong cannon in the case with the KwK L/48 same cannon as Panxer IV model H. but according to some sources was equipped with KwK L/43 the cannon you cand fin in tanks like Panzer IV F2 and G.
So what do you think Gaijin should do???
Give his historical but worse cannon and put in a lower BR or just leave the actual version untouched.
Another possible addition is this tank should obtain smoke shells. All tanks armed with long 75 have acces to this kind of shell so this tank should too.

  • No changes. Same gun and BR.
  • Replace the actual model for a historical variant with lower BR.
  • Replace with historical variant but keep the actual variant as hidden vehicle for actual owners.
  • Give smoke shells.

Gaijin’s mistakes do not need to blossom into new unobtainable vehicles.

In the case of something like the Panther II, adding a separate historically accurate version makes more sense as the differences are great enough that the current owners of the tank may feel cheated if the changes were applied directly to their vehicle.

Not to mention that the Panther II is an obvious amalgamation of real life ideas that were never combined into one proper design while the KV-1B 756r was a very real modification that Gaijin simply implemented unfaithfully.

Also making it a new variant and hiding the old one doesn’t make sense considering the CV90105 TML which was straight up removed and replaced with the XC-8

The turret armor also needs an update. I couldn’t find out if it’s the same heavy cast turret as on Finnish KV-1 m1942 or lighter one, so it’s probably safer to go with the former.
