All I want are my unique heavy tanks man, where is the O-I, P.43, 44M Tas versions, Kranvagn, WZ111, and IS-3M w/ T-54 engine. I don’t understand why people want to destroy the balance and personality of each nation by bloating them with another country’s stuff.
If I want Tiger I or II I go play Germany; Italy, Japan, and Sweden have their own domestic designs that I would much rather have.
See this thing has better turret armor than the zis 5 which is 4.7 so there are 2 options its added at 4.7 and had no linup. Sweden has TD’s that are only kinda good in an uptier so your fucked. Option 2 its added at 5.0 alongside the KW-1C and it DOA with 96mm aphe. Again this is why the KV-1B would’ve fit the lineup. If this thing had gone to germany it would’ve made sense due to them having an actual lineup. Its even more hilarious that gaijin wants you to pay for. Not to mention they couldn’t even paint the roundel black so it matches the original black swastika. Dont get me wrong it didn’t need the swastika but it shouldve been the dame color.
Its a bit sad to se the two ONLY heavy tanks in Sweden’s tree being put behind some sort of paywall…
This means that if you are a new F2P player that start in Sweden there are many daily quests/tasks/etc that will be impossible to complete and you are forced to spend SL to reroll. IIRC there have even been BP challenges with heavy tanks that aren’t able to be rerolled.
We aren’t getting another heavy so thats it. Honestly the german line is more finnish than the finnish line. T34 747 was bought by finland, KV-1B, panzer 4, stug, HA 75-2
i mean, enough for it to have been passed to devs and locked as a suggestion.
Edit: @Pheonix_RX01
A hull was built and is currently in a museum. Several guns were tested and IIRC some turrets were tested. But the guns/turrets were to my knowledge never fitted on the completed hull.
There is at least a lot of information on it and its performance during testing at different stages with different setups (information found in secretary notes from meetings about the tank and its development).
