China still only has 4 branches in their tree. Could a Korean sub-tree work? Both North and South could be added in the same line. North for China and South for Taiwan. This would add China a lot more MBTs at top tier, which is something China cant really get in the future.
I think China is planned to get other ASEAN nations that don’t fit japan, however personally I am more than welcoming of a Korean subtree, especially for Air where china lacks a bit of diversity
China unfortunately will not be separated so that means that if you want Korea then you only can have North Korea logically, South Korea on the other hand shares barely any military connection with either PRC and ROC making it illogical for it to be there. China however will likely receive Pakistani equipment.
If we look at most subtrees you will see that they had/have military ties (alliance, bought equipment or domestic cooperation) with nations they are in.
Simple said : if both become subs then North Korea goes to China and South Korea goes to US (unnecessary though) or a future solution like Turkey.
However there’s also an option for them to be United as a TT (just like China) which i personally favor.
I disagree with the idea, because I much rather see an unified Korea tech tree, just like China is, and I don’t think having 4 “big” military countries combined into one is the best approach, the fact that there are only 4 lines of the tech tree is more from gaijin laziness with the China tech tree and the missing vehicles from the game. Air vehicles wise I don’t know about others opinion but it has more variety late tree than Japan but there are still airplanes that can be added to the game unlike Japan which is running out of them
