Inspired by the recent talks about potential 5th generation planes in the future. Korean vehicles, If added in game, either goes to China or USA. I believe not Japan, because you’re just asking to start a civil war.
China lacks F-35, so does ROC of Taiwan. Thus, the J-20/J-35 may upset the balance of the game, for better or for worse, and F-35 is the way to ensure that there is an neutral option to play; not UP nor OP
As USA is 100% getting the F-35 if it comes, it would be pointless to add the Korean F-35 to the line. So that leaves us with China.
In addiiton to the F-35A, the South Koreans also operate the F-15K “slam eagle” (modified version of F-15E strike eagle) but that would be topic for another time.
Finally, Korean equipments tend to have similar playstyle to western nations, so it would just be another Israeli tree (hell, look at the K1 tanks). So I doubt it would be a new tree, or even a sub tree…
If F-35 gets added, USA 100% will have a F-35A. The Korean plane may be a premium.
China, including ROC lacks F-35s, which may upset the balance of the game. Thus, if that is the case, the F-35 offers them even playing field with other F-35 users
Idk man it seems kinda cheap that you dont think that Chinese top tier cant hold its own, stuff like this is the reason the tree is full of copy paste and not home grown vehicles in both air and ground…
Theres no point in adding an F-35 if theres the J-20 including earlier and later upgraded variants or the J-35A (normal J-35 iirc still wasnt seen with weapons/displayed with weapons), which also has it’s own variants. J-35 can take the role of the F-35 due to it being confirmed/planned to carry CAS loadouts too, meanwhile the J-20 can be a missile bus (if needed) with theoretical 18 missile loadout on all stations including internal and external, with ofc sacrificing a good amount of RCS, but still a big amount. And adding an F-15K is pointless as China has their own alternatives anyway
