Given its the US 105mm recoilless rifle, it would be able to fire the same HESH and HEATFS as the Type 60 SPRG

No, the gun is actually a license production of the British 105 mm L7 gun, witch was re-designed in some areas by the Japanese. But it’s mostly the same the British used!

The gun isn’t a RR, but calling it mostly the same to the regular L7 is a stretch. Even the Type 74’s gun only retains the barrel from the L7 and the 105GSR doesn’t even retain that.

I meant it as the orginal version its the same! But like u said Japan changed so much on that cannon that it’s now a canon of its own. But the original design that they licensed was the same on the Brittish used, is what i meant with that!
