Is it just me or there a complete lack of squadron vehicles coming to this match
did you expect Squad vehicles this major?

I doubt we will see rank VIII ground without new additions.
Likely at least the big 3 will get a new MBT to sell some new rank VII premium packs.
I hope it’ll be like last year where all nations get the top vehicle. With all having rank vii premiums.

Same here, the more nations get a new rank VIII MBT the better imo.
A new rank does not necessarily mean that new vehicles are going to be added into the game. With rank VII many aircraft were simply moved into the new rank. With Rank VIII there where essentially 3 aircraft that every nation got. I do not want to imagine what rank VIII would mean for tanks then.
Plus we already have very modern stuff in the tank tech tree.
The only stuff missing is maybe some equivalents to the T80 BVM (talking about year of introduction here) and some next gen prototypes.
A new rank would be unnecessary in my eyes for now. Almost everything that would be a reasonable addition is already in the tech tree.

Every air and ground rank released have come with at least 2-3 new vehicles for said rank. Why would it be any different this time?
Also necessary or not, we know rank VIII ground is coming. It’s a when, not if.

Anyone know if they’ve changed Sabot behavior?
I feel like unless you’re hitting open topped vehicles, the sabot shouldn’t penetrate light armor, or travel further than like…5m
Well I do not know how much you earn in SL.
But after the release of the roadmap I seemingly get less RP and way more SL per battle than before.
At this point, at least for me, talisman are way more worth it than full new premium vehicles.
At least as long as we do not get a unique and interesting new premium.
The 2S38 for example is painfully cool. I hope that we get a tech tree or Event version of it soon.

Because we are already at the top of tank technology.
With aircraft a IX rank would theoretically be possible. F 16s,mig 29, AIM 9M, R73, … are based on technologies from the 1980s. Players currently want the gripen, an aircraft that was put into service in 2003 wich would also put us into the next jet fighter generation. There are still 1.5 and soon 2.5 generations to go.
But the BVM for example was released in 2018, the leo 2a6 in 2006,… . APS systems and fire&forget missiles are already implemented. What new technologies would make rank VIII unique then ?
When will we get the news for the Anniversary?
Possibly either on the 1st of November or one week after that just like in 2021. It varies from year to year
