Yeah, that is likely too.
I really hope so, because otherwise the J-8F is going too be a rather lame Fox-3 platform if Russia and the US are gonna be getting Flankers and eagles Respectively
Fixed that for you
Yeah… though we got the Gr7 in an Oct update and that was actually rather good at first and is still half decent now its got 9Ms. so once per year we get something… okay
tornado adv upgrade with amraam capability take it or leave it
That is another highly likely contender. Though would have to have DL upgrade as well otherwise it would be even more DOA than the first one
Oh, aight. The US gotta have the most convoluted designation system
I never realised Italy only ever used their Aspides on the F-104 and Skyflashes on the Tornado, I would have expected them to also use Sparrows if they went out of their way to operate F-16s
My main cotention is, I really don’t think we have the information to say that any of these three nations will be getting a new airframe at the same time as the introduction of MR-ARH.
All three have atleast one aircraft capable of using the new weapons as they stand right now. And all have one which is not currently top BR, too.
Unfortunately that’s Definitely a possibility, tho at the same time new airframes come all the time without any prior tease. Just look at the JH-7, nobody knew that was coming until the leaks, and also, the Su-27 and J-11 are almost identical in airframe, so it would be very easy for gajjin too add both at the same time
M8 after the Hungarian air tree Italy will be huge as they will get around good 7 top tier jets
You keep on dreaming
M8 they are holding it back because of the Gripen. Plus it in there plans to add it
Anyway they have a room for a Hungarian line
So, looking through the trees, there actually would be the possibility of taking that weird route of adding nerfed versions of R-77s, MICAs and Python-4s and giving the F-16AJ AMRAAM capabilities
Would be a very weird way to introduce BVRAAMs (and looking at the BRs of most of our existing BVRAAM capable jets, the option I would hate the most)
*Q: Do you plan to include Hungarian aviation in the future for the Italian tree as was also done with Finland for the Swedish tech tree? It could offer some interesting opportunities such as the Me 210C, L-39, MiG-29 and Gripen ?
A: Yes, we do.
You know that could just mean adding a couple airplanes that fill gaps, right?
Ffs m8 it’s the whole line they are going to add
Have you taken a look at the finnish sub-tree?
M8 the only reason way some Swedish planes are in there now was because of the reorganise changes from the road map.
Before that is was a solid Finnish line
imo there hasn’t been much evidence of them intentionally nerfing these armament when they come - the " nerf " is already here, being the lack of them.
Abt the AJ, I think it 's presence along w/ the all-at-once statement( and the Gripen C plans ) means that we’ll be seeing a full-service Mitsubishi F-2 very soon - maybe not this year, and possibly not w/ MR-ARH either. But at the rate of additions we’ve been seeing, I don’t think there 's going to be any kind of gap between them - the AJ fills that entirely the way it 's implemented now.
That’s not what I was talking about.
The finnish sub-tree only added stuff to fill the swedish tree and make it look less anemic
I don’t see them adding literally everything a sub nation ever used to their host nation
