Missiles being gimped in the past:
S.530F (all abilities - tbh it’s the worst missile to use, even considering AIM-7C on F-3H2)
R.530 (seeker ability)
Magic-1 (flare resistance)
Missiles still gimped today:
S.530D (seeker quality not on par with real one)
Magic-2 (IRCCM not on par with IRL, fuze delay, 50G dual plane)
Missiles that should have been added considering the plane capability:
MICA-IR (could have been added to M2K-5F, since Gaijin always do gimp the French missiles,…)
Missiles that awaits others to counter parts:
MICA-EM (being a fox-3, it will came with AIM-120 and R-77)

Dude chill it was a joke…
I mean,… i won’t mind F-4F ICE to have it’s end life missiles,… but it should be considered if everyone can have their own.
By the time the IRIS-T is added, we’ll have the Typhoon, and thus there will be no reason to add it to the F-4F ICE.

If we had 9X IRIS-T ASRAAM MICA ADarter ect. Flying around rn it would be a total mess

Being able to pull complete 360 degree turns like the R-73 could on the devserver would be certainly interesting to observe.

Not if Gaijin done it’s work, flares are more modern on Mirage 2000 and alikes, being shaped/concieved to copy as close as possible the exhaust of the aircraft,…
Those are not simple burning chemicals
This would mean that even Small caliber flares would be more effectives, than current Large caliber flares,…
The thing is, countermeasures are not on par with IRL usage as well.
We need to be able to only launch Chaffs or Flares,… and not both at the same time.
You know modern missiles use IIR, so countermesures are most of the time ignored, right?

No, the game is still not at MICA level missiles yet.

IRCCM is a way to ignore the other heat sources, by comparison to the actual locked heat source.
The thing is, if flares are completely similar to your exhaust, then the IRCCM is not 100%-90% able to check your exhaust out of all flares around.
Therefore the IRCCM capability is reduced to 40-60% of current ability
Infra red thermography. So missile takes a photo of ir signature and compare it to the photo taken before it. It can sort out other it sources thanks to it

I know,… but then we didn’t needed to suffer in the M2k-5F.
We should have recieved a Mirage 4000 with Magic-II and S.530D instead, have the SUE, then when gripen is added, adding M2k-5F.
Suffer is a stretch, the M2K-5F is a fantastic jet.
Buffed magic should be enough for now
You know modern missiles take a whole picture, not only engine? Plane by itself also generate heat. And it it taken into a whole picture. Instead of chasing what is hotter, it takes a picture like you see in comercial ir camera and compare it to what it had before.
