Yes that is the one I talked about.
It is leased by the hour to Empire Test Pilots’ School of the Royal Air Force since 1999.
In 2014 the contract was continued till 2018.
Hungarian Gripen are leased as well btw. surely cleared for combat though.
None of these BR changes are needed though. I’m not understanding the logic or point here. Pretty much everything south of 6.7, maybe 7.0, is in a good spot. At best, the Vidar should go to 8.7-9.0, the Object 279 should go up as well. But that’s it. I mean, these changes would be somewhat justifiable if Gaijin added BR ceilings, meaning that at a certain point, you never see an up-tier. Like 6.7 should never see 7.7. But for some reason, Gaijin just won’t do that.
so i checked and confirmed, the new round of the MBT 2000 will have 588m pen the leo has 410mm and abrams 372mm , on top of that the MBT 2000 has a proxy ammo
and arguably has a better armor profile against a 2A4 in a fight
so you agree countries like japan and britain are being treated negatively compared to russia and you are afraid of that happening to your main country… yeah
What do you have against the UK of all nations getting a Gripen?
It’s going to be dead-on-arrival most likely because unless it gets ARH it will be given Skyflashes. But it will at least be a manoeuvrable supersonic fighter.
If the gripen actually comes this update it won’t be coming with AMRAAMs/BVRAAMs
If it comes in the december update it depends on the scope of that update
