Kings of Battle - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 1)

well you have my respect if you do, it is going a better way, but we still are wayyy to underfunded, the special budget isnt nearly enough to fix the problems we got sadly

you only get the bonus one time per vehicle

Half of europe suddenly went “oh shit maybe we should invest in this kind of stuff” with what is currently happening.

The Dutch army also plans on getting some new shorad vehicles in 2027.

yeahhh specialy the drone defense department was shown to be important

Would not be surprised with that being the result - Last year, the anniversary update also introduced a new battlepass(which sounds weird, I am still waiting to sell the A-1H, and it is a year since then)

3 extremely similar models, different loadouts.
No contradiction either.

F-16A MLU (late) with BVRAAM AIM-120C AMRAAM, LANTIRN Sharpshooter & Pathfinder pod and guidance Air-to-Ground ordinance ?

I think F-16A Block 20 MLU (late) got something better F-CK-1A, F-CK-1A MLU & F-CK-1C because large variety of guided ground ordnance and access targeting pod like F-16C Block 40/42

F-16V (ROCAF) upgraded avionics, radar and Air-to-Air & Air-to-Ground ordinance to F-16C/D Block 70/72 standard and access Sniper XR targeting pod except engine

F-16V from USAF fitted engine like F-16C/D Block 50/52 but upgraded avionics, radar and Air-to-Air & Air-to-Ground ordinance to F-16C/D Block 70/72 standard and equipped Sniper XR targeting pod

I guess gajin might consider Gripen C with PS-05/A mk.3 radar, Air-to-Air Missile IR Rb.74 (AIM-9L) & BVRAAM Rb.99 (AIM-120B), carry guidance Air-to-Ground ordinance and Rafael Litening III

do they wait for future projects or funding? 2027 is really late

But aside form that dutch army probably orders somethings similar if not the same as the german army due to the cooperation

Nah we are going for a different platform. 2028 is when they will be taken into service.

Skyranger 30
The government of Hungary signed a MoU in 2021 about developing a KF41Lynx based air defense vehicle, using the Skyranger 30 turrets with Mistral missiles
Germany Boxer based and Stinger or Iris missiles

Yeah it looks funny with the 50 cal and what looks to be a retractable radar in terms of hight.

The Iris-T should be way more powerful than stingers or mistral. Would be funny if gaijin still didn’t fix ahead when we get these

In theory the same design principle as the TY-90, which you can get an entire pallet of on some helis.

Though obviously much more lethal due to how much newer they are.

Same as the Tornado… Always too early, too early, too early…dispite its objectively just a very fragile bomb bus with two AAMs and almost unmaneuverable. As it was finally introduced it was put up vs Mig 29 and F-16^^ Totally obsolete.

Same will be the Eurofighter. If there’s an F-16 with AIM-9M’s as well as Gripens, the Typhoon could be introduced without issues as well.
