Precisely. If typhoon is off the table. Surely that means gripen is off the table. Unless they only want typhoon to come with gen 5 IR

on the topic of C&P are we expecting an Israeli vehicle this Major?
Why would it come with gen 5 IR missiles tho? Gripen C used AIM-9L and AIM-120B in service (RB74 / RB99).

But this is the thing I really don’t get though,
A sub tree is there to help a nation out and yet Britain is in need for a competent fighter.
But for some reason they are not adding any SAAF aircraft because Britain is well represented.
And the reason is because they are not adding fighters is stated as per irl they didn’t make any real aircraft in this area.

Yep, look below the last 2 or so years of addition, the british TT is great. really really solid and well flushed out line up. In both air and ground. Look in the past few years. pretty much no additions.
Not got the patiences or the expertise for that. But I can think of a few who’d be great for it. Like Flame or Gunjob
