I think you are looking into it too much. There wasn´t anything new when it comes to submarines. It was just cool cinematic nothing more.
I wouldn´t draw any conclusions from this.

Would be a cool PvE objective on naval maps for the air modes. Hunt the Sub. (obviously wouldnt be submerged yet, unless they added appropriate weapons) but a hard to spot naval target could be kinda fun. Kill it before it submerges and “gets away”
something akin to the ARA Santa Fe during the Falklands war. Where it was badly damaged by helis before it could dive when leaving the harbour

Yep but we all know what Gaijins stance on secondary PVE objectives is. NF is waiting for them for about 3 years.
Thats not a MiG-21-93 in the trailer as it doesn’t have the single piece front screen on the canopy, nor does it have the extra countermeasure bulges on the side. It’s just a J-7D with some R-27s put on for the cinematic. A lot of people are reading way too far into this video and thinking it’s something it’s probably not.
It could be a hint at some stuff coming in the future but i highly doubt it…
That is the one good think I like about Gaijin HQ is that they never bow down to anyone unlike most western games today.

Weren’t you just applauding Gaijin for never bowing down to anyone? Yet at the same time you admit they bowed down to Tencent at the release of the chinese tree?
I would rather Obj. 187 or T72B2 get added instead of T90M. IMO its way too early. T90M also shares much better turret than T80BVM. Object 640 would be nice to see if T-80BVM didnt exist or after T-80BVM.
They didn’t bow down to Tencent they just didn’t want to loose like 120 vehicles.
They thought it was better to save them by transferring them to our one here.

I do like the potential lore idea behind this video of there being some sort of PMC that has adhoc and heavily modified planes such as we saw with the MiG-21 using R-27s.
I kinda hope they do more in the future

We haven’t seen functional guided torpedoes since Silent Thunder, and of those only the Mk.48 ADCAP remains viewable in the files.
