In my opinion it is inferior in nearly all aspects compared to it’s new 6.7 peers. It is also eclipsed by other options in the US tech tree, such as T26E1-1, M26E1, T26E5, T34.
It does not have the armor, firepower, or the mobility to be a competetive option at that BR. It was perfectly fine at 6.3, serving as a slightly better Panther tank. It is not so superior to a Panther A for example, to justify being 0.7 higher than it.
When has “Gaijin complained about naval having a low playerbase”? Never seen them say that once before, myself.
Regardless, if they ARE doing that, then no, they should not keep doing it. They should both stop complaining and also stop spending so many resources on it both, and mostly just ignore it and focus on the things people actually play to help way more people. Was a good experiment, but it didn’t work, move on.

British f-4juk: Skyflash (worst radar missile at top tier) aim9G (worst heatseeker at top tier) no slats, no hmd. Probably the worst and most regretful thing ive ever purchased in this game (wont be buying anything else)
Compare that to American F4-S: AIM-7F (one of the best radar missiles in the game) aim9H (direct improvement over the aim9G) slats which make the plane much more agile, and HMD.
So the American one is better in almost every way with much better turning and MUCH better missiles, yet they are at the same BR and the British phantoms are balanced? If this isnt proof of anti-British Bias, I dont know what is.
I also notice that you havent fixed the missile bug where missiles are literally morphing through enemy planes without exploding. I havent played war thunder for like two weeks and honesly i feel great. I didnt plan on coming back until the missile bug was fixed but honestly, i might just stay away. this game is a joke.
It might be fun when all you wanna do is missile joust with F-16s, F-14s and MiG-29s and have an occasional dogfight (or in terms of ground battles, if CQC is the only type of engagement you care about), but for strike/attacker jets, interceptors and bombers the game is extremely lacking.
The current map selection is also rather limited and getting stale really quickly, even if they change the pool a bit. There is no real variety in the maps we get to play on. There are plenty of interesting maps with actual objectives that never get used. There is also the possibility of using naval and arcade maps for air battles.
You being so against naval being improved also is rather sad, since naval getting more advanced would also give more purpose to specific roles of aircraft and open the doors for more A2S weapons like AShMs.
Plenty of factors that are dumbing this “military game dedicated to aviation, armoured vehicles, and naval craft” down to just a glorified team deathmatch (or capture point in ground and naval) shooter
I find it quite amazing how people are completely against the idea of any sort of British Buff. we got denied EF, which, fair enough, maybe it is too early for it. But I mean what are we meant to do in the meantime? sit on our backsides and wait for a somewhat competitive plane to be added?

You still didn’t list a single example objective other than the ones in the game, that you want to see. And your only suggestion for maps seems to be focused around visual interest in the background? Yeah, sure, I agree with that, but that’s not exactly earth shattering.

Even if naval was more popular, it shouldn’t come with this “advantage”, because CAS is absolute cancer and bad game design, and it needs removing (or addition of non-CAS alternatives at least), not expanding. It’s slightly less bad in naval, because most ships have AA unlike tanks, and have something they can do in response, but only sometimes. For example, if you’re next to an island you’re just screwed if they fly on the deck up to you, no counterplay again
For the autocannons having the sabot removed. The visual effects are awesome. Are you saying that the sabot visuals has been entirely removed, or just the penetrating effects? Why not keep the sabot visuals but just tune the plastic petals to have zero penetration?
The visual effects of the sabot were removed too. It was extremely obnoxious on autocannons. You couldn’t see anything due to the amount of dirt they were kicking up.
