WIll you consider moving the Hunter F.6 down to 9.3? it is worse than the Swiss Hunter (having much worse missiles and no countermeasures), i also dont know how it used to be 10.3, and then only moving down to 9.7 when convienently a variant that was better was added that people could buy, hell even if the F.6 got its SRAAMs (which are god awful anyway, which i can say having nearly 500 battles in the Harrier GR.1) hell both should have the SRAAMs removed cause they were experimental anyway and move to 9.3, aswell as being god awful and only really useful as a headon flare for the low BR all aspects, Gaijin, Please just let britain not suffer for once,

the FGR.2 is baccially an F-4J that is hard locked to AIM-7E-2, and then theres the F-4S which has slats and can turn somewhat, i dont think AIM-9Ls would be too much of a stretch, and by no means right now is equal to the F-4S lacking AIM-7F, HMD and slats, hell the F-4EJ Kai is at 11.7 but it has AIM-7F and the AN/APG-66 with 9Ls, and its mostly the same flight performance wise, and if right now i believe that the FGR.2 should get AIM-9L and stay at 11.3 as it would not even be remotely equal to the F-4EJ Kai while the FG.1 should keep the rear aspect only and move to 11.0, with it being similar to the F-4E with it only having a better radar and slighty better IR missiles while the F-4E has a better flight performance, it would also actually create a difference between the two, with a tradeoff, of having 9Ls or a lower BR, as right now they are mostly copy and pastes, the situation with these would be very similar to the Su-17M2 and M4, of course not to the same extent, with M4 having R-60M and CM with the M2 just having R-60 and no CM, but thats why its a 0.7 difference and not a 0.3 difference like I (and prob other GB mains are asking for)

Are you implying that a team full of good players should just be allowed to roflstomp with 85% win rates all day every day with no check or balance? Because that’s a great way to go bankrupt as a game studio.

with the upcoming JH-7A to china. will the Q5’s get a buff in terms of weaponary and Q5L actually get flares?

Makes me wonder if they actually answer questions or just make up questions internally to pretend since they don’t really answer questions, just make questions and answers up and don’t reply to players in the forums.

Could you please remove the starter Heli from the Italien tech tree? I have this Thing since helis came out and i still have not even 10% researched on the next heli because it has only 7mm miniguns that suffer to kill the 106mm recoilless rifles on helicopter PvE and 14 rockets that dont even kill Light Tanks with a single direct Hit.

but mistral rolls indeed. Some french sources mention the first stage, giving the mistral its initial 40 m/s speed, also make it spin at 10 rotation per second

however the “small surface controls” excuse doesn’t take into account the canards / rear fins coupling, which probably has some impact on airflow. Can’t say which ones, cause i never studied aerodynamics nor fluid mechanics.

what’s for sure is the mistral turns less than irl, multiple videos tends to show that, can’t draw any conclusions from them sadly.

the sustainer also has a wrong acceleration time and distance cut off.
it should cut 2s after ignition (roughly 1 km from launch point, not 4 like currently in game). which also means the missile accelerates too slowly in game.

it also means the Cx on mistral is probably very gimped, since it should glide unpowered for 5km irl as opposed to 2km in game

Ya know, I may just make a Flowchart, become a War Thunder specialist Psychologist, and make that a profession. It sounds like quitw a lucrative market to explain seemingly obvious ideas

Looking at the airframe objectively, as many people have said, the only thing going for it are the Speys. That’s kinda it. and they don’t matter as much anymore when you have MiG-29s, F-16s and Yak-141s with their insane TWRs, plus better weapon sets, which is common given its almost constant uptiers.

I won’t compare the aircraft to other 11.3s because that’s already been done but still

I mean there is, it’s absolutely hilarious. Until someone “outskills” you with an R-27ER from the other side of the map and there is nothing you can do about it. Or someone tosses an AIM-9M up your tailpipe. Or someone just completely dunks on your airframe’s manouevrability.

@Stona_WT why was there no skill bonus added to Air SB? the rewards are already crippling compared to the other game mode, this is very disappointing.

There are a lot of people in the community to only fly SB, which is more difficult than RB and it is extremely frustrating to do really well in a game an got get anything compared to the other game modes.

I highly disagree. As someone who started out grinding the F-4J(UK) this year, I can say for certain that it cannot last in a fight against other jets.

For comparison, I recently got the F-4S because the British Tree isn’t getting any attention and I needed something else to do. In my 10 days playing the F-4S, I’ve scored 153 A2A kills, meanwhile in my 7+ months of playing the F-4J(UK), i’ve only scored 195.

I would honestly not mind at least one of the Phantoms going up to 11.7 if it means it gets better missiles, as at least then Britain would have a jet that could actually fight in a top tier air battle, however this wouldn’t make much change considering that the Phantoms still get uptiered to 12.0+ anyways.

It would not surprise me if Mistral is using a solution like the US made RIM-116 Block 2 RAM, then. RIM-116 Block 2 uses 2 pairs of canards in different planes to improve agility. The holes in the Mistral missile airframe probably provide the initial rotation and the canards all work together to provide a constant force instead of one like SA-16 where the force is intermittent.

Irrelevant of whatever solution was used for these missiles, it’s clear gaijin refuses to understand that a western contemporary to SA-16 is capable of massively improved performance. Crazy how putting more wings on the missile makes it turn harder.

Well Magic-2 also uses DUAL plane IRL, yet it stucked with single plane.

Can I ask why H112 B1/U2 Hungarian airplane is in the German Tech tree and not in the Italian one? In the future will you put it into the Italian Tree?

There is already He-112 B-1/U2 in the Italian TT, it’s located in the premium section under Romanian flag, though iirc it has a Hungarian skin as well.

Yeah I know but all Hungarian vechicles should be in the Italian tree if all of the others are there.

If they were added to the game before Italy was, then it will stay under it’s original tech tree.
