Kicked from the game, Reason : "using VM" (which i definitely not)

win11 user here, so basically i got kicked out of the match for using virtual machine according to the anti cheat system. ive been playing the game for years and never got kicked out of a match like this.

To explain the situation, i had to restart my game to launch msi afterburner app to observe the temps while playing, to me; it feels like anti cheat system kicked in because of that, resulting in deciding to kick me from the match, buuutt, BIG BUT, ive been running the msi afterburner app most of my time and never had issues with it, and on top of that having such less ram on my laptop that i cannot even run chrome in the background so clearly no background apps are running, and i dont run VM.

Only apps are running in the background are : MSI center, MSI Afterburner, Logitech gaming software (My mouses official software), Steam (duuh), and finally Nvidia App.

Extra details:
-I got kicked from the very first match after running msi afterburner. (huge clue i guess)
-As i said, never got kicked out of a game while using msi afterburner before.
-no VM, no mouse macros, no nothing.
-i keep my storage and system clean for the best performance, i have a habit of disabling-deleting apps that i dont use while gaming, (no relation with my issue but wanted to say)

I doubt it’s that as I run MSI Afterburner also. It’s probably that BattleEye didn’t start up properly. I’ve had that issue last summer for a brief period, which required I visit their site to see what the issue could be.

Update : ive played the game for hours yesterday after restarting, no issues and no kick, maybe as @_Mr_Fahrenheit mentioned; after restarting the game to hook the msi afterburner with sensors, the BattleEye might have not started up properly, still though something might be off, developers might use this post as a bug report

It does not work like that :)

If you feel like it you can submit a proper bu report here:
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder?from=now%252Fd-6mo&to=now%252Fd

There are not many references to MSI afterburner and most are in Russian…(search also mixes it with “plane” afterburner issues :) )

If i were you i would wait for it to happen again anyhow…with the (sketchy) info you have i doubt devs would take a second look…too many possibilities…

it happened again, and the same scenario, i just started the game with msi-afterburner already running, very first match i got kicked. was trying to play 12.0 GRB

Get data (info, date and time, logs) and screenshots…and submit a proper bug report…it is the only way to get devs attention…(it helps if somebody else has same issue…)

Of course an user in forum may have knowledge of a solution…but you can do both…submit bug and hope for a forum answer…
(Can«t help…i play PS4 and no MSI in here :) )
