I’ve played T-80UE-1, Leopard 2A4 and pretty much all Abrams variants. T-80U is among the better ones, while Abrams being the worst.
T-80U’s have lost it’s crown over the years with 600m pen rounds being added to every USA, Germany etc… tank that can penetrate the hull and facing top tier Strv 122’s/Leopard 2A7’s, but it’s still among the best MBTs in it’s BR.
Abrams is the worst due to being big in size, engine being loud and distinct making it hard to sneak up on people and flank. And having horrible survivability post pen, with turret ring, fuel tank armor panels generating a ton of spall and last added hydraulic pump getting disabled on every hull shot, playing that thing is a repair simulator.
EDIT: Last good Abrams is the M1A1 at 11.3 that get’s downtiered to 10.3-10.7 like 90% of the time, I have 1.7 KD in it, meanwhile all my other Abrams are ~1 KD. Which just shows how much Abrams is over tiered. Before you call “haha that’s just skill issue”, I have 1.5 KD on Leopard 2A4 and 1.4 KD on T-80UE-1, all 11.7 and 12.0 Abrams variants are my worst performing MBT’s.
It’s ok Abram’s is a high skill cap tank not everyone can make them work. They are fantastic if you know how to play. The reason they perform so badly in the statistics is because bad players don’t preform well in them, Abrams is not a forgiving vehicle, the performance of a tank is not judged on the best players but how the bad players perform in them instead. Leopards are the best tanks in game because they cover for bad players mistakes more than any other tank simple as.

Abrams is only decent when not getting hit at all, but if you’re not gonna get hit, might as well play a light tank with scouting, drones etc… or Japanese Type 10’s with even faster reload and better thermals.
Abrams is not a good tank however you say it, that’s just copium players come up with. High skill players can play good with almost any tank, this doesn’t measure the actual performance of it.

11.7 M1s are still better or on par with plenty of 12.0s, which speaks volumes.

Just completely untrue, it has some armor on the turret if used properly can allow you to bounce unlike other tanks like leclerc or merkava. While true that good players can preform well in anything the Abram’s is ubiquitously enjoyed by all the good players I know for these reasons.

Tbh in the armor thing it is extremely situational at top tier. Since every tank got that one weak spot that you could reliably pen. Abram sure not the best in term of auto bounce armor but it mobility and other make it one of the better tank , on term with the japanese Type 10/TKX I would say. Not the best that the game offer but one of the better option if you looking for a vehicle to play
