I guess they mean that they cant allow the Typhoon to carry 18, but then only limit it to 6 in a GRB match…
though sounds more like a game limitation that could be resolved than any major issue.
Though Id hate for them to limit MMW to just 2x Pylons, not only would that be annoying from a loadout setup point of view, but suck from an Air mode point of view.
This is the example I used, in the now deleted posts. They said its impossible because FnF Brimstones are too advanced for the game.
Which i find slightly hypocritical actually. But doesnt excuse them for not adding later Brimstone Variants without MMW.

Even JAGM-MR is a bit of a slap in the face.
AH-64E hasnt equipped JAGM-MR yet. But its getting an FnF option that is stronger than the MMW version it should actually have, but we still have SAL Brimstone 1s

Tbh this only occurred because the base JAGM is MMW only, if the brimstones had a IR variant they would probably be that variant currently.
With the SALH JAGM-MR present however I do see no reason as to why the dual mode brimstone 2 in SALH form cant come.
This is exactly where the frustration comes from.
MMW is one thing. But no Brimstone 2/3 is another. At least there is some hope for a solution with no MMW in the form of Spear-Glide hopefully Gaijin will add them despite not being tested yet

JAGM-MR is coming in as IR and SAL, both of which are inferior methods of tracking compared to MMW.
Which is funny, ebcause there is. Mode 2.

And both are vastly superior to Hellfire that the AH-64D is limited to and the JAGM-MR with FnF fired from a stationary heli outperforms Brimstone 1 fired from a fricking Typhoon.
The US’s new heli literally outperforms Britian, Italy and germanys gen 4.5 jet at the moment

AH-64D is also a lower BR.
Also as for CAS, AH-64E performs identically to the CAS offered in Britain and Italy; for both have Harriers and Gripens.
And GNSS CAS performs better as a role than the above weapon systems.
Time will tell if helicopter tactics improve to a notable level though.
Reminder as well though, JAGM-MRs are only coming for helis currently, I can see the case for say the AH-1 getting brimstone 2s, but no fixed wing is getting the JAGM-MRs so the eurofighter side is out of the quesiton.

0.3 makes litereally no difference at all. Both the AH-64D and AH-64E will face 100% the same SAM threats as they are all at 12.0.

Though doesnt change the fact that the Typhoon is so bad its not even worth mentioning over subsonic jets like the Harrier.
Though if the Typhoon doesnt stand much of a chance, I really dont see how either the Gripen or Harrier stands much of a chance. Especailly with the state of BOL for the GR7.
Yes, but AH-64E nearly outranges SAL Brimstone 1s fired from the Typhoon. Which does at least mean that quantity of FnF missiles with decent range, no longer matters, which will help for arguing things like MMW for the Brimstone 1 on the Tornado.
Never used them unfortunately. That would be the AH-64E. Hoping we get JAGM-MR on the grounds that AH-64E = AH-64E and they dont pull the usual requirement that Britain needs it in their arsenal to get it on any aircraft. They’ve done that before with things like Napalm.
Still doesnt excuse the lack of historically accurate Brimstone 2s over the totally ahistorical Brimstone 1s
This argument went out the window, with the Hornets armaments for Finland. It doesn’t matter if the country didn’t use it. The platform can use it.
