One thing I though about that could make it survive against the new IR missiles is to continuously flare. The new “IIR” missiles just have both existing type of IRCCMs, with a starting FoV of 5°, it’s pretty easy to trigger the seeker shutoff and abuse that to prevent getting locked onto. If it does lock onto you (and FoV goes to 0.25°), I don’t think you can do much about it though.

I’ll maybe try the A-10C out a bit after the update, but I suspect it’s just not going to be that good. Wish they would fix the stupid rocket CCRP bug though, would be really helpful.

Yea… Rocket CCRP would be great. They havent implemented it to the game i think. CCIP on APKWS is bugged for some unknown spaghetti code reason.

Tho from what i ve seen (keyword xD). New spaa are crap at close ranges due to their vertical launch and everyone knows what it means to get close with a10 :D

We could also get radar jammer. Since it sits at 12.0 same with new spaa thats kinda not funni

We don’t need radar jammers, we need proper decompression of ground as 12.0 simply isn’t enough anymore. AAs are, in my opinion, even more compressed than MBTs, which speaks volumes.

Oh yeah I meant the CCIP, annoying bug. APKWS would be very useful with it, but without it, it’s pretty easy to make them overfly the target or fall short.

Rocket CCRP would be really cool to have too.

I think at the ranges you can jam te wez, so to speak, of the new SAMs, you become extremely vulnerable to proxy fuse vehicles. The 2s38 stays very common at least, so there’s usually going to be at least one to kill you then.

Personally, I dont really care about this addition because kh38 carriers will mostly use mt version because its still efficient even against new spaa unless you are straight flying brick.
At this point (when teams consist of random countries (china and us vs ussr and israel for example)), devs should allow matchmaker to allow ussr play against ussr, germany - vs germany etc. It would be more balanced than what we have rn. Also kh38 enjoyers will have a chance to taste their own medicine.

U can mark the spot where u have ur sight stabilized at. Then deactivate sight stab and viola u have ur ccip. U have to be quick so that marker wont disappear

The core problem is the size of the map. When you insert air defense asset, which is normally operated dozens of km behind the front line, into 1200x1200m battle space few hundreds meters from front line, it can never end well.

10x10km maps with more spawn location options would solve so many issues…

That would also give enemy CAS 5 - 8km more freedom to approach the battlefield.
That an 10x10km maps is 13 minutes just to cross it.

Well… Yes but also cas would have to take some time on spotting to get this 4+ kills. If gaqjackjob really wants realism then they should get rid of these small cramped crap maps on top tier grb

Never occurred to you that spawns can be placed elsewhere then edge of the map?

Some can be placed in rear (for support vehicles) some close to the frontline (for those who wish to knife fight)…

Most forward spawns can be limited to light/scout vehicles…

Possibilities are endless…

This is very interesting gameplay. It turns out that the aircraft can launch a salvo of such missiles directly from the airfield, land, reload for 15-20 seconds and make a new salvo. At the same time, the new SPAA are not able to effectively intercept the KH-38. And the question is why introduce this into the game? The X-38 is the fastest missile in the game, it is faster than the FOX-3.

The Kh-38MT cannot be launched with GPS guidance. It’s not very scary

That is the million dollar question. It ties into why gaijin are refusing to address the KH-38MT’s very existance.

This update isn’t their finest hour and it’s very sad.

Update in theory: great SPAAs to finally combat CAS
Update in reality: nerf SPAAs so they are DOA, nerfed CAP so then you cannot reliably take out CAS with a plane, and buffed CAS even more.

Funny how when it was USA jets farming ground it was “Just pull a plane bro”, now when its Russia farming ground it’s “NO! planes cost to much”

That is, Pantsir existed for 2 years and they did not give anything to the US and other countries to counter it, but then they gave the West new SPAA and Russia suddenly needed to strengthen its weapons.

That tactic has been used for years, it isn’t new to the game.
Pantsir is inferior to most of the new SPAA being added.
Pantsir has been countered by CAS since 2022.

Nerfing requires them to be in a state on live server then negatively changed, which has not happened.
That and while there will likely be bugs with a number of them, most are indeed better than Pantsir.
