Don’t even compare Mav to KH38MT, they can easily be intercepted by a capable Pantsir player, they’re very slow and don’t do enough damage, if they’re launched past 10km they just explode mid air.
If ur disabled it doesnt matter if u eat Kh 38 or Paveway or LJDAM.you are dying regardless.
Flarakrad or Ito can intercept them too and i see players doing it. Sure its not easy but its doable. Use SAP-HE mavs whenever you can,they are fine.
Lack of missiles, and the superior speed it travels at, and the huge amount of explosives i really doubt a capable player can intercept it, regardless i hope KH38MT can be less effective after the update and Gaijin made a big mistake for adding it while most nations do not have a capable SPAA, which shows the double standards Gaijin tend to use when it comes Russia.

I’m not convinced it’s going to do much about then kh-38mt slingers though as they can launch within seconds from spawning and no missile is going to stop that sadly. It’s a big reason I advocate for enforced airfield spawning regardless of the weather.
Fundamentally, the missile breaks balance at top-tier and should never have been added, or should have been removed by now regardless of whether it actually exists or not. The failure to address the issue is… baffling.
Dont forget Gaijin is also adding GNSS capability to both ML and MT, which will make them even more superior.
A F&F missile with a radar/IR lock on a jet is more potent than an IR AGM that only locks at 12km and is easier to obscure.
GNSS is not really doing much ? GNSS on the kh38MT makes it a grom-1 , u will end up sacrificing a very good missile by making it a grom 1 idk why you want to do that. GNSS for kh38ML pretty much changes nothing because you can already do that in the live server ? u can mark a random place on ur map , fire from behind a hill , peek at the last second and mark the target by turning on your laser.
as of now GNSS hasn’t done much to the kh38s.

You’re mixing up the 2, anyways I tried ML GNSS on dev with a 50km and 55km base. It hit the the 50km base after like 2 minutes, doing only 10% of damage (1 missile). 55km base did not get hit because the missile exploded before reaching the target

PARS is 5kg heat warhead that rarely overpressure, most of the time i got disable and die because its annoying and multiple of them can end you obviously
38mt on the other hand has 150kg of TNT, which is enough to kill tanks within a 3m radius or severely disable it(track, barrel, fire), it has IOG which help defeat smoke by a decent amount and it can fire 2.2x the range of PARS
the range is what makes it so good, pair with fast af missiles that go almost mach 3(literally faster than the new spaa missiles) and firing from capable platform(su-30/34), somehow its way harder to lock and intercept than an agm-65
Its way better than any other fnf ingame, it has build in scope, 25x zoom, gen 3 thermal(which is literally better than most if not all the TGP ingame)

CAS will be fine in the long run. Air spawns will most likely be moved back since aircraft will now spawn immediately within range of half of these new SPAAs. Not to mention, Gaijin announced like last year that they were working on HARMs/ARMs. I imagine we will see those by years end.
Now why the Kh-38MT got a buff, is just… well dumb.
38MT didn’t get a buff. It does not benefit from GNSS
why use the kh38Ml for base bombing when u have a better bomb for that ?(grom-1) ?
