Thats all without ammo boxes (theres not on dev server as of now). Moving SLM and SPYDER to cap zones for ammo is not that practical just cuz of their size. Slamraam tho is. Fast and small . 12 missiles and being soooo dependent on team isnt very practical tho

All i was sayin is that 15km is outside any new spaa either. I m also very sry didnt read where u said standoff relies on gps xD (which is true ofc). For now its 0 IOG drift which still is somewhat GPS-ish
They get 2 TELs to compensate for it though. Although SPYDER and the SHORADs should get one because they’re only limited to 1 TELAR (Except Tan-sam)
15km is certainly still dangerous, especially when the SLM only need to see you for a fraction of a second to actually shoot you, that doesn’t even count the precious seconds exposed to point track the MT or Terminal lase the ML

kh38mt, if it was launched using GNSS from like 15-18km, in expected point(example it is a respawn) enables IR seeker at some point, so yeah

15km dangerous? SLM loses speed like crazy u would have to sit like 10s flying straight for it to hit u. Then u can lase flying sideways and u are basically unkillable

I mean tbf, MT tracking and shooting is probably 3 seconds per target, that’s 18 seconds for a full salvo. ML is probably more exposure time due to the nature of SALH
As for the TEL ammo box thing, I bet it’s a balance decision. Also only SALMRAAM gets 12, SLM gets 16 shots total

You don’t have to use it as SAL, ML now behaves like a cruise missile with a massive warhead so you don’t even have to be precise. This means that people can spam MLs from 15 or 20 km away and be completely untouchable from these new SAMs.
Now that air spawns are way further away, it gives players more time to look for these massive radars and trucks, launch MLs with GNSS and simply fly sideways or away or launch from closer range with a POI.
New SAMs are DOA.
It’s not clickbait, it’s literally a legitimate strategy that people will use to destroy these systems extremely easy.
And this changes what exactly? GNSS munitions have been in the game since whatever update the Su-24 came (Dance of dragons?). Here’s a quick tip to dodge GNSS ordnance, move.
Anyways, the buff this gives the ML is the ability to target lock and dive and then guide it terminally with laser and it ain’t exactly a new concept

Yeah dude move out of the way from the Mach 2 missile, that’s definitely not being lased from 20 km away :)
I’ll be using this strategy with Paveways, except my Paveways don’t travel at Mach 2 so I have to get uncomfortably close while the Su-30 is safely flaying away, targeting other people with GNSS cruise missiles :)))
All IR AGMs can point lock to the ground though, and track a target once it gets in the cone. MT still doesn’t benefit from GNSS because point lock overrides it

You do realize the hammers have the same capability right? And yes you can in fact move even against a GNSS missile.
because when missile flies with GNSS lock, not IOG, missile performs much better, instead of stupidily falling down like AGM-65 or Brimpstone, or any jdam that was guided by laser and GNSS

God I can’t believe I’m repeating this again. MT’s GNSS does not activate because Point Lock from the IR seeker overrides it

What part of Mach 2 you don’t understand, also, does the game warn you about it? You are managing 2 or 3 vehicles at once with these new AAs, it’s completely futile to move since the warhead is like 250 kg and will kill anything light in a 100-meter radius, you clearly have no clue what you are talking about.
It’s even worse if you bring MTs into the question, SLM missiles are so slow that you can launch them with an IR lock and fly out the way before an IRIS-T missile hits you lol, I’ve seen it happen in the dev server, IRIS-T is anemically pathetic.
If your vic has an LWS then yes you get warned about it. Not all vics have it
Also I have already explained above how shooting putside stand off distance is actually dangerous for the Kh-38 carriers (or any cas for that matter) due to the extended exposure time.
