sure at 11.0 you are but thats only like half the games, at 11.3 and 11.7 you get very outsped by F104S and Mig23MLD when you’re carrying bombs
Using the aircraft as a bomber not only wastes its potential, but other fighter aircraft are not treated this way. F-104 Starfighters at 9.3 constantly Napalm bomb points and take bases from Strike Aircraft. It’s also worth noting that bombing in a Kfir Canard is a good way to get teamkilled and mocked on the forums.
The Mig-21 has better missiles and more of them with similar flight performance.
They’re more meaningful than inferior AIM-9G.
This plane is wasted on bombing.
When Kfir Canard has a drop tank equipped, F-104S is tied with it.
And I think you mean Mig-23ML, not MLD, cause no one’s unlocking a rank 4 napalm on Mig-23s to napalm with them. Of course they need to be on your team and there needs to be 4 of them.

Fighters are treated that way. And Israel made the aircraft for strike missions.
Also R-60Ms are not objectively better, if you prefer them that’s fine, but AIM-9G’s longer range both in literal range and flare-resistance range makes them easier to use.
On top of all that, I haven’t seen a teamkiller frag a bomber in months at this point. Fighters yes, bombers no.

After 3 games trying the minimum payload to destroy one base, I can say with confidence that you are still slower than an F-104S while bombing.
Are you using 2 2000s and 2 250s? The lowest drag loadout…
It’s plausible the F-104S is also bringing less fuel… there are some greedy people out there.

I think 10.7 is reasonable for what this offers, however you have to also consider the sad fact that the kfir canard being 10.7 will completely make the mirage3e pointless

Also, F-105 was keeping up with me.

There’s a number of people are greedy and bring only enough fuel to get to the base and dry thrust back IF THAT.
I was outraced by 3 F-104S, an F-105, and a Mig-23.
And it seems only a single 500lbs is necessary, not two.

you want a point? I think “decompression” is impossible to achieve because Gaijin hasn’t been showing any goodwill to do that. there.
Also Kfir Gderot is a hard plane to balance because it fills the same niche as later F-104. but with slight disadvantages that makes it not as good as later F-104 in terms of being a bomber while not having enough A2A to warrant 11.0. at 10.7 though it will be a downtier monster that’s gonna eat up plane with it’s J79 speed, AIM-9G and bomber-denying speed.
Either change the matchmaker or decompress the damn game. but we all know Gaijin is too greedy to do anything that benefit player without something short of actual threat.

its F-104 with wider wing. it’s issue has always been that it got J79. that engine alone made it impossible to balance without ruining BR bracket under it. the ability to just outrun ANYTHING is seen as 11.0 material while the plane itself has nothing of value to actually commit A2A beyond trying to gun run or energy trap clueless premium player.
Give this thing napalm and it can sit in 11.0 comfortably in my opinion. whether israel carried napalm or not is not my business, but since Gaijin can will several russian mockups into a bunch of imba beast (KH38 & 2S38), I can’t see why they can’t just will BLU-1/BLU-27 into Israel armament.
Edit: saw a news article from 1966 about syrian complaining israel using napalm in war. maybe that can be a ground to add BLU-1 to Kfir Gderot. rejoice yall.
