Now that the Stingray exists, the previous excuse of “Germany produced it but only Hungary used it so it will go to the Italian tech tree” is now moot. Since both the USA, which never used it, and Japan with their Thai subtree get it, i see no reason why the KF41 shouldnt be in the German tech tree either.

What differences does it have from the PUMA VJTF
Working active protection system I’m afraid, manned turret as well, the differences are very clear gameplay wise, while in PUMA you get your ammo cocked by a shell, in the KF41 your gunner is the targer, perhaps your commander leading to the destruction of the vehicle. I’m afraid that KF41 is a exportation vehicle and is not needed in the German tech tree with the presence of the PUMA VJTF which in terms of survivability is obviously better when compared.
It would be interesting to see the KF41 Prototype added rather than the Hungarian production model. That should be enough of a difference from the PUMA to warrant its addition.

The US trisled a variant, thats enough foe gsjin to add it i am afraid.
We wiuld only get a different model to the current one.
The best option would be the KF41 Australian, which was trialed but declined.

Turret is mirrored as well, optics on the opposide side etc

More mobility, an APS and a different layout, besides it just provides variety to the german lineup, which is still pretty bland in terms of support vehicles

Puma is better in every aspect except its height
speed isnt to important since youre a SUPPORT vehicle and not a mbt
just go hull down and you cant be killed since the turret is remote controlled while the kf41 has a manned turret and is an easy target

I’m not asking for anything better than a PUMA, and it’s completely optional to grind things btw, not every tank need to be cutting edge or META defining.
I’m just saying that variety is nice, and the KF series offers that quite well, although the main vehicle from this i’d like to see is the KF41-120 which will be a really capable platform, and should go to germany
agreed. it might have an unmanned turret while having 8 spikes (4 ready to launch) as compared to Pumas 2 ready to launch and 2 in storage (storage irl is 6, idk if its bug reported yet)
besides, the best thing we can get is a Puma Armour fix, ERA fix, Spike count fix, ability to unmount MUSS, and to add on top of that the Puma ES24 with a LDIRCM to really make it immune to any IR or IIR guided AGM

This prototype doesn’t have the APS, the only reason you would really care to have it. As an event vehicle doesn’t seem like a bad idea. I don’t personally care for the lynx, but it’s setting a bad precedent if they’re willing to add export only for other trees but not Germany. USA shouldn’t have gotten the same stingray Thailand uses and China has no need for the VT-4.
Does it matter? You have line-ups in warthunder and germany has only the leo2A4 and anti airs next to the puma at 11.0. A second spawn, even if it’s worse, would still be nice. The Panzer4J is worse than the H aswell but still has its place.
Hey I’m not complaining if Germany gets one. Germany getting the KF41 means there will be more driving around, more KF41s driving around means more free kills for me.
German mains get another top tier IFVs and I get a quicker grind, win-win!

Crazy that you need to tell people here that you have a lineup in ground and not a single tank. Like you can take 5-6 tanks. Germany doesnt have much options around that br either (and not like the difference between the puma and puma S1 is that big. One has literally only slapped spikes on)
