KF41 in Hungarian service, 30 mm rate of fire question

Hello, I’ve found statements that 30 mm cannon used on KF41 has an option to fire at 600 rpm.

Spoiler

In these bug reports CBR answers that Bundeswehr uses 200 rpm restriction for higher precision, but what about Magyar Honvédség, maybe they don’t actually have such restriction in their KF41?

PS 200 rpm is just awful for 30 mm cannon at 11.0…
There is also a video with shooting, although I don’t know Hungarian language.

Same issue as PUMA, AFAIK the low RoF mode is to prevent overheating - which still happens due to how overheating is coded.

Well the guy in the video stated that it’s 200 rounds/minute, but It’s dumbed down, originally 800 rounds/ minute. So from context it seems to be only 200 rounds/minute.

Yes as to prevent overheating. Higher ToF mode should be selectable option from what I remember.

Current implementation is gimped tho since the low RoF mode that should prevent overheating IRL does not prevent overheating in game - ingame overheating is tied to how long gun is firing, not to how many rounds are fired.

It’s an optional function that can be added it the buyer wants it:
PUMA ROF

this would be great if we can bug report it

Well if the Lynx Skyranger 30 will be a thing, it might will perform better in this regard. If it gets Apfsds at all?

the Skyranger 30 dose have APFSDS-T, the Skyranger 35 dose not.

Thats depends on the model.
More modern skyranger 30 broschures have the capability of apfsds removed so they fire ahead even faster

Sounds like it’s a highly customizable platform that is tailored to each buyer, which could be a nightmare for bug reporting missing features because they will want proof it was implemented on each specific variant.

welcome to rheinmetall, but generaly the A3 is the standard sold to everyone

RoF was limited to also increase accuracy. But for some reason the high RoF the BMPT has still makes it as accurate as the pums in game right now.

the thing is the BMP actually dose have selectable ROF, it’s just pointless using the slower one as it doesn’t have any affect on accuracy or overheating.
It would be nice if the both got the option WITH the pros and cons of the different ROF, ie sustained accurate fire vs fast less accurate bursts that overheat quickly
