I was flying the F-117 and it is awesome, don’t get me wrong, but no mater what I did or what keybinds I set. The damn GBUs wouldn’t drop. I set the laser designator I set a drop guided bomb keybind, I even set a air-to-ground weapon lock. But, no matter what I did it wouldn’t release the bombs.

Might be a stupid question. But did you open the bomb bay doors?
Also, try using weapon selection and fire secondary weapon, i find it personally, more reliable.
Fly towards the target > Open the bomb bay doors > once the CCIP marker reaches the target select the tpod > aim at target > fire using your selected keybind
(I can only test with the stock JDAMs)

Didn’t have the same issue. I have use secondaries bound though which works for all weapon types so may e its that?
TF do you mean US suffers again? The US always gets viable aircrafts, the US has never suffered at any point during the entire development of the game, the F-117 sucks but it was always going to suck, it’s slow, can’t carry A2A weapons, and has no active countermeasures, that’s what the aircraft is. The only use case for it is in ground battles where its guided weapons are very good for its BR but the update is ground focused anyways and in that regard the US has come out pretty damn well with the F-15E despite having worse engines compared to the F-15I gets to carry mavericks and is probably the best CAS aircraft in the game, IDK about the SU-34 but even if it is better than the F-15E that still puts the US 2nd in a 10 horse race, I’d hardly consider that suffering.

Sounds like some1 doesnt know how to use american vehicles and resorts to whine about it on the forums
The only thing they suffer from is F4S teammates at a blistering level 8. Their actual planes are great!

Can’t tell if you’re talking about me or the guy I was responding to, but I think my opinion was pretty clear, the US is and has always been good.

I have tried what you recommended but, it won’t drop the bombs still, and the laser designator resets to lock front everytime I change from it. Because of that I don’t have the time to drop a bomb before I fly out of range of it.

It appears you arent actually locking onto a target, also you can lock onto a target on appraoch before you reach the CCIP point . Set a key bind for “Sight Stabilization”.
before you aproach the target, lock onto it using that keybind.
If its a laser guided bomb, then also make sure you have your laser active.

At least when I take it into test flight without researching it, I have a choice between 2x Mk82 500 lb bombs or 2x GBU-38 JDAM which are also 500 lb.
Im not actually surprised you get 500lb GPS guided bombs stock though
hmm ok, i still prefer dumb bombs though cause they are easier to use, in my opinion
