Kawasaki Ki-10-II Kai (キ10-II改)
The Kawasaki Ki-10-II Kai is a Japanese prototype fighter that was intended to be an improved version of the Ki-10-II fighter. Two prototypes were built in November 1937.
History
In 1936, Kawasaki tried to save its biplane from being completely replaced by monoplane fighters. They wanted to improve the aircraft so that the performance would be similar to that of monoplane fighters (Ki-27, Ki-28, Ki-33). Isamu Imachi was responsible for the design, as Takeo Doi was involved in the Kawasaki Ki-28 project. The future Ki-10-II kai was designed as a potential future upgrade to the Ki-10-II (Ki-10-III if it went into production), which was currently undergoing prototype testing, so development was not a high priority. Therefore, both prototypes of the Ki-10-II Kai were built in November 1937. These aircraft had several important modifications and were the most advanced Japanese biplanes. Tests showed a significant improvement in the aircraft’s speed from 400 km/h to 445 km/h. However, the Nakajima Ki-27 accepted into service in the same year, was faster at 480 km/h and more modern. The Japanese army already knew that the era of biplanes was ending and modern aircraft were needed (although the Ki-10-II was produced until 1938). It is not known what happened to the prototype Ki-10-II Kai, but they were probably rebuilt to the basic version of the Ki-10-II.

Summary
The Kawasaki Ki-10-II Kai is an interesting aircraft for Japan in War Thunder. This fighter could replace the Ki-10 C aircraft as a reserve vehicle. This aircraft is also well suited as a Premium fighter. I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.
