I am not angry, I was just pointing out I am not goanna do any of your or your colleges job when no one even cares to fix it.
SO you say engineers and designers of combat vehicle are so dumb to make effort to cut out mesh for optics and then they leave there a line that blocks good portion of it? Just for fun?
im not saying anything about the engineers, and would really appreciate if you stopped insinuating as such
what I am saying is that this is literally the state of the vehicle in game and it is not hard to figure this out by literally looking at it
its blocks like a 1-2 degree arc of sight at max, its not a good portion at all, its miniscule
ultimately if you had phrased your bug report more similar to this one which was only made the other day, then you would have a fair bug report
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/wS9YFUZbHJX1
as most photos of the m1296 do not have the cage over the optics
only a few photos of it have the cage but that doesnt mean it doesnt exist as you seem to think in your own bug report
just because you dont know what the reason is doesnt mean a reason doesnt exist
there is LITTERALLY CUOUT FOR FOV of that optics, its not there just for fun. Its lazy implementation of gaijin, that it gets in the actual FOV of gunner sights, and it blocks whole screen at certain depression angles, making it impossible to aim thanks to big magnification of optics… You just try find excuses for lazy gaijin devs and blaming IRL engineers that ofc make cut out in mesh that doesn’t actually work…
The IRL cage has the exact same cutouts as the one in-game has.

IRL:

and? I dont argue that its not there. I argue that its not in FOV of IRL vehicle
How can it be one and not the other though?
Do you not see that little crossbeam across the main hole in the caging? It is very clear that it woulf block the view from the optics over a few degrees
oh yea so you want to tell me that enginners are stupid? Sure, u know that one cutout is for one lense and second one is for other lense?
