Just want tips on grinding USA ground (air could help too!)

I’m a USA main and just got the jumbo

And I have realized how much hell 6.7 is, what can help the grind?

  1. Upgrade your crew skills, they are very important. Prioritize targeting, reload rate for tanks, and maximum G overload and recovery time for aircraft.

  2. Make a lineup where the majority of tanks at the max BR, because you shouldn’t be using the 3.3 M4A1 alongside your 5.7 Jumbo. 3.7, 5.3, 5.7, 6.3, and 6.7 are all good lineups for the USA. I’d recommend getting the 5.0-5.7 Shermans before you go up in BR to 6.3/6.7.

  3. Sherman specific, but use the stabilizer to your advantage. You can shoot when moving when under 24kmh, which allows you to get the first shot off. At 3.3/3.7 they have average armour; it will resist fire from a T-34, but not a Panzer IV.

  4. American mediums around 5.0 don’t have enough armour to resit German guns, but they do have more mobility. Make sure to learn the weakspots of the tanks you face, you’ll need it (especially when using the Jumbo)

  5. Just get better, learn the maps, learn what tanks you face and how to kill them, and use your tanks advantages.

Don’t use M6A1 it’s a joke vehicle with a list of flaws I could write a book about, get the M4A1 (76) W. The jumbo is a vehicle the needs a lot of knowledge to do well in, and to add insult to injury the rest of your lineup is not up to par. They should be around the same battlerating.

M18 GMC hellcat and the M36 Slugger have very good guns and mobility for those up tiers especially the Hellcat.

SPAAs are kind of subpar but they are gonna add more soon. The M19 and M42 have around 70mm penetration on the AP belts allowing you to use them as effective backups against ground vehicles when low on Spawn Points.

You should also expand your Air tree more because USA cas around this BR is definitely one of the more oppressive ones, you can function as both a really good fighter and effective ground attack in one package.

Go for the m41 and m18 once you get the sabot its really good at penning stuff at that tier (as long as you don’t get trolled by gaijin)

M4A3 76, both M36 and M18 are really good overall tanks (if not the best). As air, most american aircraft depends on speed, so do not waste your speed and avoid japanese planes, Spitfires and Yak’s in a dogfight. CAS is the best as USA - P-47, both Skyraiders and AM-1. They have good bomb load and destroy SPAA’s with ease with HVAR’s.
