I started playing last week and the mid tier levels are totally infested with these Japanese Ferdinand tanks. They are lethal, like extremely hard to spot, ultra powerful, fast and completely OP. Last few games nearly 90% of my deaths have come from them, I’ve lost interest already in playing (12 straight losses didn’t help…)
Am I the only one or are these things the new Terminators?
People are buying the premium version and playing it to grind for the tech tree version because they are getting removed from the game in about 3 weeks:
The tech tree one is good but probably not overpowered, the premium one is apparently worse. I haven’t played it so can’t say much other than what i’ve seen others say about it. but if you face a lot more of them you’re going to get destroyed by more of them as well so you’re going to remember those deaths easier.
I know for me, I bought the Hori in a previous sale and never used it. And now I’ve been spamming it the last few days. Plenty of others in similar situations. All grinding out the Hori production. The removal of these vehicles was the motivation I required to actually play Japan, and I’m enjoying it.
Ho Ri Proto is quite poor ngl. It is not really all that fast with only 550hp and the armor is pretty bad too
Thankfully the APHE can exploit the usual weak spots so you’re still able to 1 shot KTs, IS3s, etc. But yeah, I don’t rely on its armour and I did expect it to be more mobile.
The Ho-Ri Production has been around for years, and was never an issue prior to the last major update. I played it in my 7.3 lineup with the Type-60 SPG, M163, and a Kikka and hardly saw any others playing it.
It was never a concern as many games were up tiered where it’s strengths were not as effective.
Then Gaijin releases the L-39 with it’s CCIP and suddenly there is a plague of them. Nothing has changed with the Ho-Ri over the last few updates other than it getting pushed up to it’s current BR.
Acting like you cant angle slightly to bounce off some of the enemy shells and the most important factor,try to use it as a sniper rather than frontal assault,the HoRi proto its quite good on some spots on some maps
