I would like to suggest the possibility to equip (via modificaiton) both the Ju 87 G-1 and G-2 (the only difference is the base plane between them, the G-1 is D-3 and G-2 is a D-5) to gain double the ammo of 48 rounds / 24 per gun.

Overall the Ju 87 G were intended specialised heavy ground attacker and tank hunters, being the Ju 87 D but instead of being equipped with bombs, recived 2 Bk 3,7 (Flak 18 upside down in gondolas) under each wing, as well as the air brakes were removed. They were equipped with an array of different kinds of ammo for standart ground stiking of infantry up to the heavyiest of tanks. For that purpose the Bk 3,7 was good, even if a little bit heavy. As it had effective HE and HEI ammo (Sprgr.18 and Br.Sprgr.18 (as well as shortened and no tracer versions for greater filler), to the well known M.Gr.18 Minengeschoss with maximized filler for Gasschlagwirkung (overpressure) against planes and both the normal full caliber Pzgr.18 APHE at 790-800m/s for general armored targets as well as new developed H-Pzgr. L’Spur 405g at 1170m/s with up to 140mm normal hardenes plates (in game ~110mm). While some troopes didnt like the handling and returned to normal bombs for tank hunting, some achived great success, such as Hans-Ulrich Rudel, who already achived great with the normal 20mm Mg 151/20, but also lots of T-34 tanks with the Bk 3,7.

However it wasnt flawless on this platform, due to the need to use the gondula mounting it could only carry 2 6 round frames per gun, to a total of 24 rounds or 12 per gun. Which was relatively low, especially compared to the Ju 88, Bf 110 and Hs 129 with 30-50mm guns. As such it was trailed to weld a 2nd ammo tabel to the already existing one, doubling the ammo per gun to 24 and in total to 48 rounds. While it showed a clear improvement, it didnt end up in main production.

It’s so unfortunate that the Jericho’s Trumpet wasn’t used in late Ju 87 variations, such a iconic characterist, and I love those tank busters airplanes, hopefully this one is added soon for a more appropriate World War Two update.

+1 since folders can hold up to 4 planes in the TT, perhaps both of the variants can join an existing Ju-87 folder?

Even so, gaijin still needs to add them to the D-series, as they remain missing in-game

They could just replace the aerobatic smoke with the siren on the stuka. Would be easy to do and wouldnt need another keybind
