Those things were after russia sold the Su-30MKI to India, like a modernization.
If people want the Su-30MKI to the USSR tree, it would be like Su-30MKI Early without the western armament and other equipments that were added later on.
Because the one fully modernized with western equipment deserves to go to the Indian subtree (UK)

it did get access to some things like pods and jammers.
Considering other planes can get stuff that was never integrated I see nothing wrong with this.
Used to be a great advocate of only using stuff that were actually compatible until I realized that gaijin doesn’t care.

These systems were delivered to India with them pre-installed on the aircraft. I must remind you this was 1998.
There’s also MKIs from Russia in 2009 that was marketing BraMos.

Ok so the western companies after signing the deal with India, they sent the electronic components to Russia so then they get delivered to India and finally everything be assembled there. So yeah you are right.
But still no compatibility with the western armament in those batches delivered from Sukhoi.

I’m fine with it getting those systems including ECM (if that ever gets added as a function), but yea everything else post delivery is India only where “technical compatibility” would not work. It’s not even theoretical as it is impossible.
It’s like comparing the F-4C with the, I dunno, Kurnass 2000, except it has even more mods compared to that

AFAIK, every A2A equipment from SAAF Gripen is a placeholder since SAAF had only Darter IRL, which didn’t finally integrate (can be wrong bc I am not a Gripen geek), meanwhile SAAF Gripen isn’t allowed to have the same placehold standarded AIM-120A/B

They bring technical compatibility for buff big three nations’ vehicle, while they also bring gameplay uniqueness or historical weaponry for nerf other seven nations’ vehicle (no M61 APCBC-HE on British 75mm)

Systems like I-Derby ER, Rampage, etc. did not even exist back then. Additionally their brochures do not mention the Su-30 by the time (in this case the basic Derby brochure has to be used, as the others did not exist back then). Nothing is said the Su-30 can carry them, or any Russian aircraft matter of fact.

Do you really think Gaijin will care if none of these aircraft had the rails or access to the weapons themselves? The MKM was delivered before the Kh-38 even existed and got R-77-1 for a radar that’s not compatible with it, as it’s pretty obvious it’s whatever Gaijin feels like doing with it.
The 2000s era prototype MKI doesnt have the access to the same Indian made weapons systems and avoincs as the modern MKI

Let them have Su-30MKI, just like how Finnish F-18C and F/A-18C MLU-2 went
only new avionics, no western weaponry
