New to the game and am trying to connect my joystick which is a
Thrustmaster T.Flight Stick X.
Two questions:
1. I don’t see mine listed on the drop down list, so can I use another one?
2. How can I see if or which joystick is being recognized by the game?

The list is default settings for certain joystick models. But you can configure your joystick to your liking. You must run the “Configuration Assistant” I think is its name and configure each control or axis.
I also recommend that you save your configuration, because sometimes they reset with some updates.
