JH7A fighter pilot perspective error

In the game, the first-person perspective of the JH7A fighter pilot is too low, making it difficult to assess the external situation.

However, when comparing the game’s external pilot view to the real JH7A pilot’s view and external view, it is not as bad as in the game.

It is hoped that the first-person perspective of the pilot can be raised a bit.

You can try to report it, but Gaijin is a bit wierd with pilot head positions. They align them with the HUD or something

You can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

Also, you do have the option to change it yourself:

Just a shame there isnt a way to save the change, you have to adjust it everytime you respawn

The last time I bug reported this, it was for F-111 and A-10, and I was told it’s an intended feature to keep the reticle pointed along the aircraft.

You can raise the pilot head with view controls as Necornomica stated.

Fundamentally, this is due to an error in the HUD’s model position. Based on the actual airplane images provided by the original poster, the top edge of the HUD should be very close to the edge of the canopy frame. However, the HUD in the game is positioned too low. Gaijin needs to modify the model.
