To be fair everyone (except for Italy, Sweden and France) have a CAS/CAS capable premium. It make sense to add one to China too
But yeah… a proper fighter would be preferable (J-7D does too much of the heavy lifting). Even Su-30MKK/Su-30MK2 would be great
imo you can use the Mirage F1 quite well for some limited cas with dumb bombs
Italy has the AMX premium
and seweden has the Saab-105 which is a quite low tier premium tho

That’s like wanting to remove the PL-12s from the J-11B to make it more competitive for CAS, what a horrible take. The JH-7A developed with the intention of carrying ARH missiles, by restricting this you’re practically forcing a vehicle into a category it was never meant for.
Both the J-11B and JH-7A are equally as well equipped for CAS, giving the JH-7A its historic PL-12s won’t change that whatsoever.

The exact same rhetoric I challenged in my previous message, you’re artificially restricting a vehicle for something it was never designed for to forcefully fit into a niche category.
The JH-7A itself has a better air to ground loadout than the J-11B, it’s flight performance is of good qualities and its avionics are up to standards. Updating the vehicle in-game to carry its historical PL-12s wouldn’t make the vehicle any less effective.

Not really? It falls on Kh-29TE vs Kh-29T (and currently on LIVE JH-7A restricted to only 2 Kh-29) and that JH-7A can field Laser+GNSS bombs (which do come in handy)
