Russian main will tell you how R-77 is worse missile in the game nothing come close when it actually R-darter is worse missile in the game.
until the typhoon came out i genuinley would just take the harrier GR7 to top tier as it handled it far better with the amount of CM and being able to VIFF

If you said that Derbys/Darter have weird flight trajectory, yea i can see that, but never had issue with Derbys randomly losing lock, if anything they kept it the same as amraams.
Maybe even better on Kfir because the AESA radar at least work when compared to Captor-M, lmao.

The Gripen radar isn’t the Captor-M (criminal what gaijin did to the captor), The Gripen uses the PS-05. Anyway the R-Darters seem to have the chaff resistance of an R-3R or decide that the air is a better target than the plane you sent them at.

their trajectory while tracking isnt awful. they just lose concentration on anything like when you hold a phone in front of a brainrotted toddler. sometimes targets haven’t even needed to chaff, just fly in a straight line to escape them
their weak range also makes them hardly worth taking over a 9m which you can do a stealthier launch with too.
Gripen doesn’t use a captor radar btw, that would make it worse lmao. Somehow the C&Pd blue vixen and made it handle worse.

may genuinley just be a better radar and datalink on the Kfir giving the missile a better chance in the first couple seconds if the derby is the same missile in entirety. The PS 05 is a pretty mid radar so may just be this

the Derby and R-Darter are slightly different in game but I can’t remember how
cant really tell too much when your target is a slow flying MIG 15 honestly so I cant really get anything good from a quick check.
The new optimal lead indicator for missiles is really damn nice tho, may help with a lot of launch issues for anything beyond sidewinder range

All Gripen C MS20 models aside from SAAF should using MK.IV while SAAF MS19 has the MK.III
hmmm why I have the feeling that the MS20 will be new aircraft instead of Gripen E that gaijin gonna add.
All gripens in game are Fake and will not receive further improvements as its easier to balance them as they have what gaijin wants, MS20 GBU-39, MS17 radar, ect ect.
Gripen NG is what needs to be added next not the E.
